I received and email from one of my favorite clients this morning, asking if I was going to blog here daughter's 3 month photo shoot. I read the email, and thought "Hmmm, Rachael...didn't you blog?". I had to check...and sure enough...I hadn't! WOW! Has the end of summer really gotten that crazy?!?! Apparently, I am losing my mind (shhh, don't tell my husband!) ;)

Regardless...apologize all around for sweet Hannah getting lost in the madness!

Hannah is one of my Watch 'em Grow babies...(more info on the website if you are interested). So you will be seeing her a lot this next year. Back in July, we did her 3 month shoot, and oh my how she had grown! The day of the shoot...she was VERY serious! While she would happily pose, she did not crack a smile. Defiance at an early age! She knew what we wanted, and was not going to give it to us! Good for her! Not so pleasing to her wonderful Mom! So, we scheduled a re shoot....and this time, she smiled...and giggled...until the camera was in her face, then she got real serious again. Hahaha, it was the funniest thing! I was able to grab a few though :)

Oh and the pink polka-dot dress...KILLS me! LOVE IT! :)

This next one, Tricia (her mom), had specifically requested. She has one similar to it of Hannah's older brother and wanted a matching one of Hannah. :)

And these are my favorite! The yellow dress...LOVING! Her big blue eyes...to die for!

I have had the opportunity to spend time with quite a few newborns lately. ALL lovely, all precious...all of them make my ovaries spazz out! However...Baby D was THE calmest little newborn I have ever taken pictures of. Maybe it is because he has two older brothers and he already knew being calm is the way to survive. He is absolutely precious...and perfect! He had a bit of a bumpy arrival...a trip to the NICU...but 2 weeks of life and he is as calm as can be! When I look at some of his pictures, I just see "peace".

And what would a shoot be if I couldn't capture all three brothers...I LOVE 4year old goofiness.

Have you ever met someone whom you just know is an old soul? Like, they just emanate "coolness". You haven't? Well...meet Ethan. Yes, he is only three months, but doesn't coolness just seep from his pores? I can just picture him as an adult...just walking down the sidewalk as the coolest cat in the neighborhood. I can visualize his swagger...and I can imagine everyone trying to emulate him. He. is. just. cooool.

I think it helps that his Mom is just as cool. Tara knows one of my deepest and darkest secrets...my natural hair color (eeeeks!)...she and I are in cahoots in keeping that little tidbit of info under wraps. ;) I LOVE her! Oh and I LOVE the salon she works at (LeBliss Salon if anyone wants to check it out...they ROCK!). I have visited her once a month for the past 5 years, and never once walked away disappointed. Thank you Tara for letting me spend the morning with you and your cool cat. :)

Look who is growing! Its baby Case! How cute is he? And so mellow! He just chilled...and was game for anything. No crying, no fussing. He was a very serious little guy for the most part. He cracked just a couple of smiles, under pressure...luckily I got 'em! :)

This is Jack. Jack was very serious. He studied every move I made...yet, kept an eye on his beautiful Momma. He was not going to crack with me. Even his Mom couldn't get him to grin...until...he was safely in her arms. Oh and a few nose nuzzles helped! ;)

What is better than hanging out and taking pictures of the cutest kids on the planet? Taking pictures of the cutest kids on the planet and playing catch-up with their Mom! :) I took pictures of D & D last October, and my how they have grown in 6 months!!! It was so great to get out (although a big chilly) and play catch-up with their beautiful Momma, and play catch-up with the camera! Enjoy!

Meet Cassidy. Actually, you have met Cassidy before...here. Yes, she is the end result of this. :) The Freemans...probably some of my favorite people in the world.
